Opening night for the 2024 season.
Daryn and crew kicked off the 2024 season at I-55 Raceway in Pevely Mo, last night with a bang. Daryn started 4th in the 2nd heat race, making a last lap pass to pick up the heat race win. Winning the heat put Daryn starting front row outside of the feature. Daryn jumped to the early lead, building an over half track lead, when the 1st caution flag flew on lap 19. Daryn rocketed to the lead on the restart with yellow flying again with 1 lap to go. Daryn pulled away again on the restart to pick up his 1st win of the year. After a lackluster year last year, Daryn had high remarks for the new engine package and car combo after the 1st night. Check out the race video below.
